Guest Posted December 11, 2001 Report Share Posted December 11, 2001 Hi John;It is an excellent sounding speaker. It lacks a few Hz on the bottom end compared to the AR91 (or 91.5). Placement is critical for best performance. They are design to be against a wall, and not close to a corner.They perform best with amplifiers with high damping factors (low output resistance). They are 4 ohm speakers, and like lots of current. They respond well to power, 100W per into 4 ohms should be considered as a low end, especially if you listen to jazz, classical or piano at relatively low levels.Nigel Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
