University Speakers?

I've own a set of rather large (4ft by 2.5 ft.) University model speaker systems. They

have been packed away for a few years but as I remember them they were in 5

sided cabinets, had a horn tweeter and mid range and a 12 or 16 inch woofer (can't

remember size exactly). Purchased in the late 50's, early 60's?

Do you have any idea of history, quality and worth?
