jackfish Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 You are probably running them in parallel with a 4 Ohm load. So, first you need a receiver or amplifier that is stable at such loads and probably lower. I'm running 200 watts per speaker with four New Large Advents, but only in an effort to gain "dynamic headroom" not ungodly SPLs. What is the power rating of your Denon? jackfish Posted August 30, 2007 Report Share Posted August 30, 2007 I believe the Denon DRA 325 has pre amp outputs which means you can add a power amplifier to gain more power. SLA ART-2 and Behringer A500 are a couple of inexpensive pro audio amps that many people are incorporating into their home theater set ups.
