Guest smilach Posted April 30, 2006 Report Share Posted April 30, 2006 I recently picked up a pair of utility advents with the metal woofer frames. It appears the woofers have been worked on previously. Though the tweeter has a red dot showing where the positive lead should be connected, my woofers have no markings. Doug G. Posted April 30, 2006 Report Share Posted April 30, 2006 Take an ordinary flashlight battery and connect it to the woofer terminals. If the cone moves out (forward), the terminal that is connected to the positive battery lead is the positive terminal of the woofer. If the cone moves back, the terminal that is connected to the negative lead of the battery is the positive terminal of the woofer.Doug Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
