KHL1 speakers and it's bass analog computer

hello friends,

i need some info about KHL1 speakers and it's bass analog computer. I've got a pair of these speakers without the computer, and I'd like to know, wheather I can use the speakers that way. Have anybody connected the speakers directly to the amplifier or reciever and do they work okay? Does anybody know, what kind of distortion may happen if i start to listen to them that way?

The ABC is a bass equalizer that boosts low frequencies and, at high volume levels, limits ultimate low frequency extension - by listening to them without it, there will be less bass and greater chance of overdriving the woofers at high volume levels. They'll sound just fine without the EQ, but better with it.
