Guidance please--Model 20 speaker refurb

I just bought a pair of Model 20 speakers. They need new grille cloth and some TLC on the wood, but my question is this: These of cource have RCA jacks to connect them to the phonograph/radio (which I don't have). I'm thinking of replacing the RCAs with 5-way binding posts. Would this hurt (or enhance?) their resale value?

Also: I have experience upgrading xovers on AR speakers. I have not torn into these yet, but is there somwhere to find info on recapping them? Is it advisable, or should I leave well enough alone? I also have a pair of 33s waiting for work, so I have not opened up any KLH speaker as of yet.
