13hm13
Just purchased a pair on FB Market. The original surround is rubber. One of the speakers seems to have had its original woofer replaced, and it’s in great shape. The rubber surround feels soft and supple. The other seem to be original. Much cracking and rubber feels a bit stiff. Rubber cement helped a bit to seal up cracks. The Qa is an acoustic suspension system. So cracks are an issue! Bottom line: I see many FOAM surround kits , but no rubber kits. Will foam work and SOUND the same as rubber? Anyone know of a source for rubber 10” woofer surrounds? Thanks! 13hm13
Hey folks, still seeking a solution. I sent several emails to Simply Speakers. but no useful reply. Bottom line: I need 10" rubber surround(s) for that vintage Infinity Qa. Thanks for any help you can provide.
ReliaBill Engineer
I’ve used these on 10” infinity woofers. Worked very well.
