wsill
I'm looking at a pair of LST's. The seller had the woofers re-foamed. Does the woofer look correct, re-foam done well ? Thanks.

The woofer frame appears correct. The refoam job is not correct. The foam surround is not correct. It should be whole with no seam. The surround placement on the spacer ring appears too eccentric. It is not normal in the photo. The glue job is a bit sloppy. If the price is especially attractive they might be worth purchasing for restoration. DavidR
The re-foam is not good as Aadams pointed out. It can be replaced with a correct surround foam. Good chance to get them at a big discount.
JKent
When I bought my 91s years ago they had been refoamed very sloppily. I sent the woofers to Bill LeGall and he redid them beautifully at a very fair price. Maybe give him a call and see what he charge to fix these http://www.millersound.net
