"Looking for parts for AR TSW series speakers"

Hi anyone know where I might find parts for AR TSW 910 I need the woofers and mid range and tweeters. These are great speakers I love them and want to Refurbish them. Any leads would be great thanks "The Whistler"

I don't know if you are looking for new drivers because yours are electrically defective or simply because the surrounds (foam edges) are rotted. If it is simply the foam edges on the woofers and midranges, this is easily repaired with edge replacement kits. By all means DO NOT throw away these drivers if it's just the edges that are the problem.

If the tweeters aren't working start with the crossover cap first. Remove the tweeter and sub in another one to see if the tweeter is actually bad. If the substitute tweeter won't work, then it's probably just the capacitor inside the cabinet. If your tweeter is bad, there are several sites that offer replacement ones - but they won't be exactly the same as the original, so check out the cause of the trouble carefully before you go that route. If you look through the threads on this site you'll find various suppliers (AB Tech, Madisound, etc.) but don't condemn your drivers just yet.

Re-edging kits are available from places such as Simply Speakers, Orange County Speaker Service or tons of others. It's not hard to do yourself, or you can send them out to be done.
