Guest Islands Innovation
AR Fans,If you are interested in listening to your AR's in their native rock music habitat, I came across a web site that's just the ticket:http://www.wolfgangsvault.comhttp://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/This is the archives of Bill Graham, the famous concert producer that died in a helicopter crash in 1991. His personal collection was sold to these folks, and now they are digitizing many of his old recordings and posting them for free streaming. I suspect they plan a download business, but it is all free at the moment.Just a huge number of rare live soundboard recordings from places like the Fillmore East & West, Wintergarden, etc from the late 60's and early 70's. I've been listening to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, CSN&Y, and just finished a smoking Little Feat concert.I have no connection to this site or its owners...just thought you might enjoy it.Thanks, Jeff
joelongwood
Thanks, Jeff. A friend of mine turned me on to that site a few weeks ago and I've been enjoying it immensely ever since. The sound quality of some of the concerts is excellent, while others are pretty poor. In any case, it's nice to be able to go back in time........if only through audio. I've used my minidisc recorder with some of the concerts and have been able to enjoy them using my stereo gear........AR speakers, of course.
