Guest nathanso
Page 18 of the AR90 manual describes a part called 'self-adhesive finishing trim made of reticulated foam'. Mine are toast. Is such a part available today? I'd like to replace these when my refoamed drivers go back in to avoid the silver rings from showing through the grill cloths. Two possible alternatives: (1) Paint the silver part of the exposed woofer/lower midrange basket flat black. Simple, cheap, and the drivers blend in with the black background. (2) Use black felt (self-adhesive backed felt or regular felt and some form of adhesive, such as a spray adhesive)to replace the foam. SteveS
Another alternative I found is is general purpose "Low density" weatherstriping self adhesive tape. I found it at Lowe's, but I would guess any hardware store would carry something like it.Steve
