legopart
I want to connect AR-3A to regular receiver that works with 6ohm, What mod should I do to this speaker crossover? (also plan to connect some 1-2ohm speaker to regular receiver, how to mod the crossover of them?) Thanks
genek
Do not mod the crossovers. There is nothing you can do to turn a 4 ohm speaker into a 6 ohm speaker. You should contact the receiver mfr and ask if it can safely be used with 4 ohm speakers. You might be ok as long as you keep your volume low. If not, you can try adding a 2 ohm resistor in series with the speaker, but then you'll be losing amplifier power.
JKent
What kind of receiver? I have an onkyo and I did just what Gene suggested--contacted the manufacturer and they said it's fine with 4 ohm speakers. I had planned to add a separate power amp but as long as Onkyo said it was OK I just left things as-is.

JKent
Best to do as Gene said--ask Pio and Sony. I only know about my Oinkyo.
