AR9 Woofers

I have a pair of AR9 cabinets and I'm trying to find the replacement woofers. Each cabinet holds 2 woofers on the side and I think they are the 11" size. They were bought in 1979 by my father and are still in good condition except no woofers!! Any suggestions would be helpful.

You would be better-off buying original drivers and having them reconditioned than buying new "replacement" drivers. It would take longer, but in the end wouldn't cost more (or as much) and it would be "righter."

IF you decide to go the replacement route anyway, I have two slightly used replacement drivers left (I went back to originals in my 9s) and could save you some money. Look in the "For sale / Wanted" section of the forum.

I have several original refoamed woofers that I will sell. Also have some that need refoaming. Stay away from replacements other than originals!! Dale
