rmhoon
I'm new in here and not very technical. I am replacing the potentiometers in a pair of Infinity Column II speakers. I do not know the specs on the existing ones and can't find the specs. I want to use wire wound ones and was wondering if someone could tell me what to use...100, 1k,10k ohm etc., linear or audio taper, and wattage. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: Dimensions: 39-3/4 x 14 x 12-1/2 Frequency Response 35Hz - 20kHz, +/-3.5dB Crossover Frequency(ies) 750Hz, 5kHz Feature 1 CROSSOVER RATE - 6dB per octave Power Handling, RMS MIN - 15 watts RMS MAX - 250 watts RMS Nominal Impedance 8 ohms Speakers: Woofer 10", two (2) each cabinet with one firing down. Midrange Driver 4.5" cone. Tweeter, two (2) hand-treated piezo each cabinet with one rear facing. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
