Giorgio AR
Here is a comparison between the AR1ms and the mid / high mounting plate of the AR48b speakers. The components of the AR1ms are Tonegen made, the AR48b speakers are original AR In the photos the values of the resistance of each speaker are detected and the constructive differences can be seen: gasket magnets and dimensions etc.
giovanni56
There is a version (among the first produced), of Ar1ms with square tweeter magnet and low mid, both are marked Ar, do not seem Tonegen; as soon as I can post some photos. dna
Are those square magnet drivers 20001-1?
Giorgio AR
3 hours ago, dna said: Are those square magnet drivers 20001-1? No, they are 200053-0, with a diameter of 4" and are used as mediums in AR48b / 58b (round flange with number 200041-0 as mediums in AR48s), then replaced with TNG analogs, 1-200053 .. or as in the case of AR1MS with initials 1-200460. This was to show you the difference between AR58s and AR58b as you asked in the other topic They look like little 200001-1, "universal woofer" in the AR designation, but these are 8" and fit the AR17!
