Giorgio AR
I have a problem with the 1969 AR4x woofer particle board flange. By applying the sealant, the chipboard is cracked for about 12 cm. of circumference. The break was my fault: I used the old and hardened sealant, and the tightening of the screws induced the fracture. I plan to re-glue the chipboard with epoxy glue and then use the foam gasket (following the sealant to avoid stressing the wood structure again) instead of the original sealant, than to keep the original aesthetic effect, add a string of sealant on the frame of the woofer, as originally, visible in the first photo
