  1. My uncle died at the ripe old age of 91 and left me his stereo equipment which includes this set of AR3 speakers. I know he bought them new in the mid-60s. They’re all original and have never been taken apart. The cabinets are solid and in great shape. See pics for more details. I tested them and they sound like they’re under water. Good bass and mid-range but no top end. I think the tweeters need to be replaced. Also, the pots on the back don’t seem to affect sound at all. These speakers need someone to love them back to their former glory. I'm not that person but I'd be happy to sell them to the one who is. I'm asking $1200 for the pair. I accept PayPal, Venmo, certified checks, money orders, and cash to be paid at or before the arranged pickup. Please email me at jcinverso@gmail.com with any questions.
  2. Well i blew a tweeter a couple days back. So I'm gonna need to.find some suitable replacements. I'm hoping that one f ya'll can give me some other models that have a tweeter that will be a match to the vr40. Obviously I can't get any orignal VR40 pieces, unless someone here has a couple they would part with. Thank for reading my post.
