This is pure trivia, nothing of real technical or audio interest, but it's mildly amusing. I recapped a pair of KLH 23s, which had never been opened since being built, I am sure, and as I lifted out the insulation I saw that the person who assembled the speakers left a cotton glove with a piece of masking tape on it, and a hole in it, in the corner of the speaker. Compelling AR "Hindsight" Questions: Instead of the 3-way AR-5 with its excellent, expensive midrange and tweeter, should AR have made a good 3-way bookshelf unit using the AR-3a 12-inch woofer and an AR-2ax-type midrange and dome tweeter—at the AR-5 price point—to better compete with (or outgun) the Large Advent?
