For Sale: AR4 inherited from my cousin who bought them in 1963 or so. Speaker boxes never opened. Cabinets and grills in pretty good shape. The sound is not like new to say the least; they need a good restoration by someone who knows what they are doing. They are located in Abingdon, VA. Will sell for $200 obo. Shipping would be extra.

Hi Jeff. Thanks for the advice. I will post them on the for sale section. The speakers are located in Abingdon Virginia (extreme southwest part of the state near Bristol TN) I think I will ask $200 for the pair plus whatever shipping would cost. Is that reasonable?

Greetings all. I have a pair of original, boxes never opened AR4. I inherited them from my cousin. He bought them new sometime around 1963 or so. I do not intend to restore them myself and instead want to sell them. The are in need of a restoration as they do not sound like much now but they sure did fifty years ago. I have tried to find AR4 for sale but only find 4x on the market and so I'm thinking these are probably extremely rare and worth something to a serious collector. Do you have any suggestions to sell them so as to get a fair price? My first instinct is to merely post them on ebay. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Golfer
