I grabbed this pair of because from a gentleman just outside of Philly over the weekend. From all that I've read about them, they're are well renowned and well worth the money. I paid $99 for the pair.
He said that he had re-foamed the speakers, and from tests so far, everything sounds fine. In the future I might consider a tweeter upgrade and any other repairs from HUMAN Speakers. So far I'm pretty happy to add them to my setup, and soon I'll have some more upgrades to add. I'm currently running them with a Pioneer Pl 12d with Shire m75ed cart, as well as a Technics zu780 stereo receiver.Can't speak about the tweeter upgrade, since mine work just fine, but I replaced the 8" woofers in my EPI 200s with the Human replacements, and they sound great.
