About Me

Competitive velodrome racer, pilot (deaf!), woman of a certain age (owned the OLA 1972 when in college in NY).  Still own my original Garrard A70 (it even works), have a Harmon Kardon 630 that works (could use recapping), Smaller Advents (original, refoamed), and more modern gear.  My AR XA went missing ages ago (maybe a brother took it?), still wish I had the Crown DC300A and Dyna PAT 4 pre I used back then.  Brother and I had 4 "stacked" Advents one summer, awesome sound for the day.  Location recordist (lots of very fine mics, mic pres, and an Alesis HD24XR).  Interested in maybe acquiring a pair of AR3a or AR5's for nostaligic sound (with modern MOSFET power), perhaps even finding a pair of Original Larger Advents (I truly adored the pair I had in the early - mid '70's).
