This is not a speaker problem. It's either program material (which you've already tried alternates) or a power amp problem.

Hello to all of you on this board. I have quite a few AR speakers and two AR turntables. Of the AR's that I own, my favorites are the AR9LSi's. I have two pair of AR3's, one pair of AR3a's, one pair of ARLSTII's, one pair of AR9LSi's, one pair of AR2a's, and a single AR2.

Would you be willing to guide me with regard to upgrading a pair of AR-9LS speakers that I recently acquired to LSi? Not sure how to contact you.
